Mini-maskon Saturday, page 1

On Saturday, we went to several of the convention activities unmasked.  After all, it was a conventio, and we did want to see some of the convention activity!  Then in the evening, Morganna and I got dressed up and in mask to attend the masquarade.  We were quite a hit!  Many people asked us if we were entered and seemed disappointed when we said no.  We watched the event, and afterwards I wandered off to be seen by the public.  It did not take long before I was being waved to by some convention staff people.  They asked me to come to the green room so that the proffessional photographers could get some pictures.  But, of course!  I can't deny my adoring fans!  So after a few shots, I went and found Morganna and brought her back for some fun as well.  When we were all done, we returned to the room for our little on-line party.......but you must go to page 2 to see that!

Here I am in my room....I'm all dressed up and indeed I have someplace to go!  Morganna and I were the only two of the group to dress up for the masquarade, Jenn was busy as a volunteer, and Marti and White Orchid went along "in drab" and served as our camera operators and all around assistants!

Here I am chatting with Conrad Brooks.  He is an actor and director who got his start with the "legendary" Ed Woods.  He was in the movies "Glen or Glenda" (the teenager in the turtleneck) and "Plan Nine From Outer Space" (one of the two policemen) and to this day makes many "B grade" movies.  He was so fascinated by my "Earth Goddess" outfit and the mask that he asked me to be in his next film as the Earth Goddess, and also as "Officer Jovina"!  I will keep you posted on this one!

And here is one of those combined shots.  Like Marti said, mother nature is not responsible for clones!  But this pair seemed to be rather friendly (you can see them in the background in the Conrad Brooks picture too!).

Here Morganna has joined me for a picture.  I suggested a title for this could be "The old religion meets the new religion".....but which is old here?

We are still in the room, and now Morganna has joined me for a picture.

Here is a picture of me in the "Green room".  The proffessional photographers had people in costume stand in front of the white backdrop for taking photos.  Several other people in costume were around and we also did some combined shots for them, as you will see below.

I think I am facing death rather valiently here!  No fear showing on this face!

Ahh, the old and the new getting along just fine!
